Meelad / Milad
The word Meelad / Milad has been derived from the word “viladut” which means birth. Eid Milad an Nabi sometimes simply called in colloquial Arabic, mawlid, mulid, is a term used to refer to the observance of the birthday Holy prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) which occurs in Rabi’ al-awwal.
The basic purpose of this foundation was the preaching and teaching of spiritualism and the propagation of knowledge by the method of Muraqba (The Meditation) through our centres called Muraqba Halls. We have around 80 Murqaba Halls all over the world which are celebrating Eid Milad -un- Nabi ( S.A.W.W) every year in the Holy month of Rabi’ al-awwal. Our Murqaba Halls also organize Mehfil Meeld and Mehfil Naat Shareefs programmes though out the whole year.
By the order of present head of the Azeemia Sufi Order & khanwada-Silsila-e-Azeemia Al - Shaikh - Khawaja- Shamsuddin Azeemi the Mehfel Meeld Programme started here in Adelaide in 2003, since then we celebrate Eid Meeld un- Nabi (S.A.W.W) every year and organize many Mehfel Meelad programmes through out whole the year.
