He is famous by the name of 'Hazoor Qalandar Baba Auliya' (may his soul rest in peace), a well known spiritual scholar and teacher, an intellectual and a great scientist of all times; in the year1960 by the permission of Holy Prophet Muhammad (May Allah's blessings and peace be upon him and his offspring and the followers).Hazoor Qalandar Baba Auliya devoted his life to this practise of Sufism. He taught and resided with the now patron-in-chief of the Foundation, Al - Shaikh - Khawaja- Shamsuddin Azeemi, for 16 years. Al - Shaikh - Khawaja- Shamsuddin Azeemi has been the grand Sufi Master of the Order Since 1979.
The basic purpose of this foundation is to eliminate the fear of spiritualism among the people because we believe and observe practically that everyone can learn and expertise the spiritualism irrespective of sect, religion and nation. We welcome all for the inner quest. We are preaching and teaching of spiritualism and the propagation of knowledge by the method of Muraqba (The Meditation) through our centers called Muraqba Halls.
Unlike traditional orthodox style discipleship is not present in Silsila Azeemia, rather they are called friends. No particular dress code or appearance is required. Only a sincere interest and devotion for spirituality is basic criteria for association with the Silsila. Instead of austere and rigorous rituals simpler lessons and exercises have been introduced. This is based on the worshipping style and method which was exercised by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) in the cave of Hira for a long time. The practice of Muraqba (Meditation) helps the spiritual student to start his spiritual journey into the spiritual realm. The more one advances along the spiritual path the more one becomes enlightened. One’s conscious becomes strong enough to penetrate into the mysteries and realities.
Presently there are more than seventy eight Azeemia Centres (Muraqba Halls) throughout the world working under his patronage to promote and spread spiritual knowledge and to serve humanity by offering solutions to their physical, mental, marital and social problems.
